Dallas Skin Institute at Santa Monica offers you a unique Skin Care Expert training experience. Cosmetology Program

Cosmetologists provide personal care services that include caring for people’s hair, skin, and nails. Beauty professionals employed in the cosmetology industry include hair stylists, barbers, and estheticians, also called skin care specialists. Our 28 credit (1000 hours) Cosmetology program offers comprehensive training in nails, skin, and hair with an emphasis in cosmetic treatments to improve the health and appearance of skin and hair including:
 
  • Presentations on mannequin 
  • Practical cut, color, and blow-out sessions
  • Combining classic manicure + pedicure protocols
  • Classic LASH outline techniques and lecture
  • Theory and Milady CIMA lecture
  • Freehand Beauty shows (self-reliant day)
  • Suitability TDLR practical & written state board exam routines
  • Introduction to savvy business ideas

Admissions Information

Please read over our admissions requirements. At Dallas Skin Institute all hands-on workshops are held from 9:30am – 6pm with a lunch break. Technicians will also receive their kit, which includes enough product plus materials for over 30 applications. This effectively will allow technicians to quadruple their investment.

We offer small class sizes to maximize the individual training time at both our Dallas and Santa Monica locations. Private clinics are also available.

In addition to state of the art training course, we offer our students (included with paid tuition):

  • FREE Cosmetic Tower which includes enough products to provide over 30 services.
  • FREE Blood Borne Pathogens Training for private classes.
