Dallas Skin Institute is bringing its hands-on approach to beauty education to Manhattan, New York City. The new campus will offer programs in Esthesiology and Cosmetology, designed to help students build technical skills, confidence, and professional experience for careers in the beauty industry.
Students will learn through a combination of structured classroom education and hands-on training, with an emphasis on real-world skills, professionalism, client experience, and preparation for what comes next.

Esthetician Program
Manhattan, NYC (600 Hours)
Build your skills in skincare, esthetics, and eyelash services through hands-on training and structured classroom education.
Students train in a focused environment with a 1 instructor to every 10–12 students ratio, allowing for personalized guidance and skill development. The 600-hour Esthesiology program includes training in treatments and services designed to support the health and appearance of the skin, along with business fundamentals for beauty professionals.

Manhattan, NYC (1000 Hours)
Explore hair, skin, and nail care through a comprehensive program designed around hands-on learning and real-world application.
Students build technical skills and confidence through guided instruction, practical sessions, and structured theory. Training provides a well-rounded foundation across multiple areas of beauty while helping students prepare for state board licensing and future opportunities in the industry.

What does it take to become an esthetician?
You do not need to be a nurse or have a medical background to become an esthetician. Esthetics is its own professional beauty career path. If you love skincare, beauty and helping people feel confident in their skin, esthetics may be a great career to explore.
Do I need to be a nurse to become an esthetician?
No. You do not need to be a nurse, have a nursing degree or have previous medical experience to pursue esthetics. Estheticians are beauty professionals trained specifically in skincare and esthetic services.
How old do I need to be to become an esthetician in New York?
